Verdicts Reached in Anna Nicole Smith Drug Cases
Finally bringing an end to the drawn-out drug cases surrounding Anna Nicole Smith's death, her ex-boyfriend Howard K. Stern has been found guilty of felony charges.
Following 58 hours of deliberation, the Los Angeles jury reached its verdict with Smith's boyfriend Stern, as well as her doctors Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich, all having been accused of illegally providing drugs to the late pin-up girl.
And while Stern, as well as Dr Eroshevich, were found guilty on several counts, Anna Nicole's personal physician Dr Kapoor was acquitted on all charges.
With Miss Smith having passed away on February 8, 2007 at age 39, Stern and Eroshevich were not charged for causing her death and face sentencing for their convictions at a later date.
