Met Opera's "Manon" Draws Out Hollywood's Lovely Ladies
Stepping out for an elegant evening, a handful of lovely ladies gathered together on Monday night (March 26) at The Metropolitan Opera House for a new premiere of the late Jules Massenet’s “Manon”.
The New York City based stage show was sponsored by Yves Saint Laurent, with actresses such as Emma Roberts and January Jones making dazzling arrivals, as Miss Roberts stopped and posed for photographers wearing a gorgeous black pant suit while Miss Jones donned a black full length gown with a thigh slit and open back.
Other Hollywood hotties in attendance for the grand night included Emmy Rossum, who popped on the carpet in a bright magenta gown, along with "The Rum Diary" darling Amber Heard and "Hugo" cutie Chloe Moretz.
Having first been performed at the Opéra-Comique in Paris on January 19, 1884, the reprisal of the five act show stars Anna Netrebko, Piotr Beczala and Paulo Szot.
