Robin Thicke on Miley Cyrus VMA Performance: “It Was Funny To Me. It’s Silly”
He’s always up for a good chat, and Robin Thicke is featured on the upcoming episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”
The “Blurred Lines” crooner addressed the controversy surrounding his duet with Miley Cyrus at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
"It was funny to me. It's silly. I was walking out towards Miley, I'm not thinking sex. I'm thinking fun, you know? Just remember, I'm singing my butt off. So I'm sitting there, I'm looking up at the sky, and I'm singing. I'm not really paying attention to all that. That's on her.”
Thicke continued, "People ask me, 'Do you twerk?’ I go, ‘Listen, I'm the twerkee. I'm twerked upon. I don't twerk myself.’”
Robin’s episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter” is slated to air on Sunday, October 13th.
