Ed Lauter Passes Away
He had a long and distinguished career in Tinseltown, and sadly Ed Lauter died in his Los Angeles home on Wednesday (October 16).
The “Shameless” actor was 74 years old and finally succumbed to complications caused by mesothelioma, a rare cancer that targets internal organs.
Ed’s resume includes roles on “Walker Texas Ranger,” “The A-Team,” “Mannix,” “The Rockford Files,” “The Artist,” “Trouble with the Curve,” and “Miami Vice.”
In 2012, Lauter summed up his acting work- "A lot of people say, 'I know you,' but they don't know my name. But I've had a great run."
