Juliette Lewis Fronts Net-a-Porter's The Edit
With her new film "Hellion" slated to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival today (January 17), Juliette Lewis garnered herself a little added exposure by covering this week's issue of Net-a-Porter's The Edit.
The 40-year-old actress looked absolutely gorgeous in designer garbs from Giambattista Valli and Erdem for the Victor Demarchelier-shot front page while opening up about her transition from acting to singing.
Check out a few highlights from Miss Lewis' interview below. For more, be sure to visit The Edit!
On her band:
"It was a real big thing to jump off the acting bandwagon. I always liken it to cutting the umbilical cord. In my six years on the road, I was fully committed and created a real fan base for my music. The music we're generating is fresh but it's rooted in soul-driven rock'n'roll-the kind of music that gets into your spirit."
On her role in "August: Osage County":
"It was a really rewarding, wild experience. When you work with the best, there's such beauty in it. It's what you hope for in this business and you get a handful of times. I'm old enough now to appreciate that."
On her outlook at life at the age of 40:
"At 40, my eyes are open and excited by designers in a different way. I didn't lean on that side of myself when I was younger."
