Prince Harry: Clean-Shaven Military Man!
He’s enjoyed some downtime since finishing the Walking with the Wounded trek to the South Pole, and now Prince Harry has ditched his beard and signed up for a new military position in London, England.
Given his experience flying helicopters, the Army Captain is a highly-desirable addition to the Army Air Corps.
A Kensington Palace rep noted that Harry will help coordinate "significant projects and commemorative events involving the Army."
And according to Lt. Col. Tom de la Rue, "Captain Wales has reached the pinnacle of flying excellence as an Apache pilot, particularly in Afghanistan and, in the process, has proved to be a real inspiration to the many Army Air Corps officers and soldiers who have come to know him so well over the last two years."
Furthermore, said the Palace rep, the Prince is interested in bringing the Warrior Games to the English capital, giving injured servicemen and servicewomen a chance to compete.
"Detailed feasibility work is currently being undertaken on behalf of the Royal Foundation and the [Ministry of Defense] on concepts and funding for the U.K. to host the inaugural International Warrior Games later this year. A final recommendation will be made at the end of January.”
