Justin Bieber Waves to Fans After Jail Release, Stars React to his Arrest
It’s been a whirlwind of a day for Justin Bieber and he was finally released from a Miami jail on Thursday afternoon (January 23).
The 20-year-old pop singer was arrested early this morning for driving under the influence and drag racing in his yellow Lamborghini. Upon his release, the Biebs waved to his devoted fans waiting for him outside of the building.
A number of fellow famous folk shared their distaste for the “Baby” singer via Twitter including Lena Dunham, who shared, “I wish so hard you could, like pop Lexapro all day like a baller… The only crazy part of Justin Bieber arrest is that he was ‘popping anti-depressants all day.’ Anti-depressants take like 3 months to work.”
Seth Rogen penned, “All joked aside, Justin Bieber is a piece of sh*t,” while Chrissy Teigen wrote, “anyhow as crazy as I am, I don’t love laughing at downward spirals. You can love it though… That was not in defense of douches. It’s more a selfish statement, let them be idiots but don’t you look gross in the process… It’s a super ugly thing to root for someone’s failure, no matter how douche the douche. You just become a different category of douche.”
Zach Braff tweeted, “Who amongst us hasn’t drag-raced a Lambo in Miami on pills?” and Josh Groban shared, “’I sentence you to free credibility in the world you are actively trying to gain credibility in.’ –judge to Bieber.”
Mario Lopez shared, "Justin Bieber mugshot . . . He must be high... He thought he was at a Teen Beat photo shoot."
Jason Biggs wrote, “50 in a 30. Jesus, Bieber even drag races like a pussy,” and the Roots’ Questlove said, “FREE POLITICAL PRISONER JUSTIN DREW BIEBER!!!!!!!!!!!”
Finally, Ricky Gervais shared, “Prison Game: Just in Bieber… Prison name: Justine Bieber,” while Vanilla Ice tweeted, “Okay back to the art, LOL. I don’t want to get On a Bieber tangent. I wish him the best. But drinking and driving is not good… Someone just told me that Justin Bieber got arrested in Miami last night dragracing drunk. Hard lesson to learn.”
