Still glowing from her “MTV Unplugged” performance with Madonna, Miley Cyrus showed up at “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” for a friendly chat last night (January 30).

The “We Can’t Stop” singer dressed in denim, joking that she’d stolen Jay’s wardrobe, and had some valuable wisdom for her troubled pop star friend Justin Bieber.

To help the Biebs stay out of trouble, Miley suggested, “You've got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don't get in trouble, and party at your house. Buy a house, and add a club to it.”

Cyrus also mentioned that she’s never had any serious problems with Johnny Law, which is shocking considering how much the media harasses her.

“You know it's funny cos today I was looking, my fans had put all these mug shots up and they were like, ‘I don't see a Miley mugshot yet.’ I get the most flak from anybody but I don't do anything illegal. I'm doing a lot of s**t, but I'm not doing anything illegal – so that's alright. Everything I do is legal in California.”

From there, Leno showed photos of a two-year-old Miley when she was doing press with her dad Billy Ray Cyrus, noting that she had a Willie Nelson doll that she called her ‘boyfriend.’

Cyrus responded, “It's weird when guys ask me who was my first boyfriend and I have to tell people it's Willie Nelson and then I have to go into the whole story. My dad loves to tell people that, but out of context. I'm like, ‘Dad, you've got to tell the whole story or it's really weird. It's really creepy.’”

As for why she sticks her tongue out all the time, Miley explained, “It's because I don't like getting my picture taken, I kind of get embarrassed. You don't see it, on the red carpet the people taking your pictures are yelling at you and it gets you a little nervous. They're screaming. I don't know what to do so I just stick my tongue out because I don't know what else to do. People are doing it, Madonna's doing it. It's all good.”
