His new movie “That Awkward Moment” opens in theaters today (January 31) and last night (January 30) Zac Efron was working his magic to promote the flick on “ Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

The “Hairspray” hunk was in good spirits as he chatted with Kimmel about his infamous jaw-breaking accident that left him with a wired-shut jaw for six weeks last fall.

Efron began, “I was like running through my house and I slipped and fell and hit my face. Actually let me start over, the story starts kinda cool because I have a fountain in my house. That’s kinda dope, right?”

“So as I was running through, I slipped on water and hit my chin on the fountain in my house. It’s not a big fountain but it’s a fountain in my house.”

Zac continued, “Luckily my brother was there and I was like, ‘Geez, man!’ And he was like, ‘Are you okay?’ And I go, ‘I don’t know man, am I okay?’ And he goes, ‘No, you’re not okay. We’re going to the hospital!’”

Additionally, Efron confessed that he saves his voicemails from celebrities and among his favorites are messages from Michael Jackson and Matthew McConaughey.
