Suspects in Philip Seymour Hoffman's Death Arraigned on Drug Charges
In a bizarre turn of events in what cops believe may be a link to the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman, three of four people arrested have been arraigned on drug charges in court.
According to TMZ, a police informant has claimed that one of the men, Robert Vineberg, is believed to have been the one to sell Philip his heroin, however, he has pled not guilty to felony possession of heroin, intending to sell.
Saying that his client is not involved with the death of Hoffman, Ed Kraft, Vineberg's lawyer, tells TMZ, "These charges have NOTHING to do with the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman."
The two others arraigned, Max Rosenblum and Juliana Luchkiw, have not been charged with the possession of heroin, but instead have each been charged one misdemeanor for possession of cocaine.
Juliana's attorney reportedly stated that his client never had any contact with the late Hoffman. The last suspect who was arrested yesterday, Thomas Cushman, was not charged due to a lack of evidence.
