Paul Bettany Is Set To Play A New Role in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron"
He's recent role was the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S, the computer/butler in the "Iron Man" series, but now Paul Bettany has been selected to take on a new part in the upcoming Marvel superhero flick "The Avengers: Age of Ultron."
Variety confirmed on Thursday (February 6) that the 42-year-old actor will portray reformed villain the Vision.
The android character was created by Ultron to destroy the Avenger. Although he was meant to be a henchman of the robotic villain, the Vision later rebels against him and joins forces with the superheros.
"The Avergers: Age of Ultron" will reassemble the team to help save the world from Ultron's master plans for destruction.
Starring in the flick are "The Avengers" stars Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downy Jr. and Chris Evans with new faces such as Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Production is slated to being next month.
