Gary Oldman Chats with Sky Movies about Possible "Star Wars VII" Appearance
Getting sci-fi fans riled up for J.J. Abrams next film endeavor, Gary Oldman revealed that the producers of the next installment of the "Star Wars" saga talked to him about a possible appearance in the series reboot.
In an interview with Sky Movies, the 55-year-old was rather coy, saying, "They've called. You know, I'm more cynical about it now. I'll believe it when I'm on the plane home."
The British front man wet on to say, "The deal isn't done, but yeah, they've inquired. I mean Planet Of The Apes, Harry Potter, Batman, and Star Wars… bloody hell!"
In addition to Oldman, names from the original movies, including Mark Hammel, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford will show up in the new movies, reprising their roles as an aged Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia Organa and Han Solo.
Rumors also state that Benedict Cumberbatch may also join in on Abrams' take on the franchise, and Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and "James Bond" boss Judi Dench are also said to be linked to the project.
