Jared Leto: Fan Favorite at Mr. Chow
Treating himself to a delicious dinner out, Jared Leto headed over to Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills on Thursday night (February 27).
The "Requiem for a Dream” stud was more than happy to spend some time signing autographs for his loyal fans as he emerged from the popular eatery before scurrying off into the City of Angels.
And this weekend, Jared will compete for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar trophy at the 86th Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre.
And it sounds like Leto considered a drastic haircut for the occasion but has since decided against it. Hairstylist Chase Kusero told press, “It’s really important that he doesn’t look like a woman - that's the biggest challenge. [Jared and I] were going to shock everybody and show up for the Academy Awards with a haircut, but it’s looking so good that we don’t really want to cut it. The only thing I can say is that right now I'm all about the ‘wet look.’”
Kusero continued, “I’m voting up, because we’ve only done it maybe once before. I want to do something with a side part this time, something cleaner. And I want to try to get a bun that’s nice and small, more like a traditional knot. The pony-bun press was kind of funny—I don’t know if he liked all that or not. We both agree that it has to look like something he would do himself.”
