Scarlett Johansson Receives an Honorary Cesar Award
Finding plenty of French fans, Scarlett Johansson attended the 2014 Cesar Film Awards in Paris on Friday (February 28).
The "Her" star received the honorary Cesar trophy by Quentin Tarantino as she took the stage in a chic blazer, black pants, and sparkling diamond necklace.
Upon accepting the award, the 29-year-old actress told the audience, "I’d like to thank France and the city of Paris itself for embracing me and welcoming me into the family. There isn’t a day that I spend here that I’m not deeply, deeply touched by the beauty of this city and by the integrity of its people. Thank you to my partner Romain, who inspires me every day and who teaches me how to appreciate France and French culture in all its deliciousness.”
Unfortunately, Scarlett missed out on Oscar nominations this year as her vocal performance in the Spike Jonze film was ruled ineligible for the Best Actress category.
