She's had her fair share of body critics since stripping down nude in "Girls," and now Lena Dunham reveals why she loves her anti-Hollywood figure in the April 2014 issue of Glamour magazine.

During her interview, the HBO series' star/creator opened up about how she handles her body's haters and even shared details about her relationship with fiance, Jack Antonoff.

"I think I radicalized my relationship to my own body in order to accept it," Miss Dunham explained. "To make my body a prop in my work gave it a value I didn't feel it had before."

She continued, "At the Golden Globes I had a little bit of fat bubbling over, but I love how that looks. It looks bountiful. It reminded me of corset dramas. There will be a point - maybe when I'm pregnant or when I have kids - when I just want to have my body for myself."

Also discussing Jack's first remarks about her "infamous" figure, Lena stated, "I remember talking with him on our first date and him being like, 'God, all the articles about your nudity on the show are such bullsh*t.'"

In regards to Jack's reaction to her success, the 27-year-old actress shared, "I think women are conditioned to stand by their man and watch them make it to the top, but most men never believe the person they get into a relationship with is going to rise any higher than she was when they met."

"It takes a very special, evolved person to be able to deal with change within a relationship," she added.
