Carey Mulligan: Back to Work on “Suffragette” Set
Hard at work on her upcoming movie, Carey Mulligan filmed scenes for “Suffragette” in London on Thursday (March 12).
The “Great Gatsby” star donned a black peacoat with a purple hat and a scarf as she rehearsed her lines in between scenes.
Directed by Sarah Gavron, “Suffragette” is about the foot soldiers of the early feminist movement, women who were forced underground to pursue a dangerous game of cat and mouse with an increasingly brutal state.
Starring alongside Miss Mulligan are Meryl Streep, Helena Bonham Carter, and Ben Whishaw. “Suffragette” is set to hit theaters January 16, 2015.
