"The Amazing Spider-Man 2's" Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield Front Entertainment Weekly
With their exciting new superhero flick "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" set to hit theaters May 2nd, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield pitched in on promotions by covering the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine.
The 30-year-old actor sported his famous spidey costume and held onto his co-star with one arm for the Kevin Lynch-shot spread.
During her interview with the publication, Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal stated there are a few twists that fans will definitely enjoy in the upcoming sequel. "At the tail end of this movie we set up some of the other characters that will probably end up being in the Sinister Six. We're going forward on all fronts."
The film's co-producer Avi Ard chimed in, "Villains can be very entertaining. It's not like somebody's born and they're a villain. Something happens and it changes their lives. Some people can deal with it - they become the heroes. Some people can't and hate the world because of what they felt was done to them - they become the villains."
Other co-producer Matt Tolmach noted, "Great villains are the characters you remember. There's a lot of us in those people. It's hard to identify with people who are good all the time."
