Leaving Prince Georgie at home for the solemn occasion, Prince William and Kate Middleton attended a ceremony at the war memorial in Seymour Square in New Zealand on Thursday (April 10).

The Duchess of Cambridge looked sophisticated in a periwinkle Alexander McQueen ensemble with a commemorative poppy pin while her husband donned a navy blue suit with a red and blue striped tie, along with two of his own medals.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, just the day before the happy couple took their bouncing baby boy for a visit to Plunkett's Parents' Group at Government House in Wellington, New Zealand.

During the play date, the little guy had some fun pulling on mom's hair and even testing it with a taste.
