It hasn't been the best of times for Justin Bieber, but he has one less thing to worry about, as the White House has decided not to take action on a petition asking for his deportation.

The "We the People" petition, which gathered more than 270,000 signatures asked “to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked.”

The petition against the Canadian crooner began after the Biebs was arrested in January for alleged DUI and drag racing in Miami.

In their official response, the White House said, “Sorry to disappoint, but we won’t be commenting on this one. The We the People terms of participation state that, ‘to avoid the appearance of improper influence, the White House may decline to address certain procurement, law enforcement, adjudicatory, or similar matters properly within the jurisdiction of federal departments or agencies, federal courts, or state and local government in its response to a petition.’”
