Alec Baldwin Takes Aim at NYPD After Arrest
He's not one to hold back his opinions, and Alec Baldwin sure didn't mince words when tweeting about the NYPD after his arrest for riding his bike against traffic in the Big Apple on Tuesday (May 13).
The "30 Rock" alum told his side of the story via a series of tweets to his Alec Baldwin Foundation Twitter account.
Among the messages, the 56-year-old wrote, "I think handcuffing some1 4 riding a bicycle in the wrong direction is ridiculous. Report of disorderly conduct is a distortion by Moreno."
The feisty actor also quipped, "New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign."
For their part, the police department said they issued Baldwin two summons- one for riding against traffic and one for disorderly conduct, as they allege Alec was upset after being stopped.
