Samuel L. Jackson Signs On For Charity Fundraiser at London Collections: Men
He’s best known for his strong presence on the silver screen but it turns out Samuel L. Jackson also has a soft side.
The “Pulp Fiction” actor will host a fundraiser for One For the Boys (a charity to educate men about male-targeting cancers) at the Victoria & Albert Museum during the first day of London Collections: Men.
And Jackson isn’t the only star on the docket for the shindig- Simon Pegg, Tom Hiddleston, Luke Evans and David Walliams will serve as models.
Samuel told press, “Men don’t tend to talk about their health issues, worrying about appearing vulnerable. The problem is that they do not have enough information on the subject. One For The Boys focuses on cutting through the noise to educate men, in the hope that we can have a similar reach to that of the pink campaigns.”
