Lupita Nyong’o Signs On For “Star Wars: Episode VII”
As if there wasn’t already enough buzz surrounding the production of “Stars Wars: Episode VII,” they’ve just added another massive star to the cast.
“12 Years A Slave” award-winner Lupita Nyong'o is officially part of the project, as well as “Game of Thrones” star Gwendoline Christie.
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy told press, “I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendoline joining the cast of Episode VII. It’s thrilling to see this extraordinarily talented ensemble taking shape.”
“Star Wars: Episode VII,” due in theaters December 18th, 2015, is currently filming in Abu Dhabi under the direction of JJ Abrams and starring Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Andy Serkis and Oscar Isaac.
