Jason Segel’s Mom “Cried” After Full-Frontal Nudity in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall"
Less than pleased with seeing her son nude on the big screen, Jason Segel's mom cried while watching his 2008 romantic comedy “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”
The “Sex Tape” star told Vanity Fair that his momma had no idea a full-frontal nudity scene was coming, which may have led to her shock and awe.
Shortly after viewing the film, Segel’s mom sent a mass email to the family giving them a warning about the scene. She wrote, "I would like to inform you all that Jason has chosen to do full-frontal nudity. However, it is not gratuitous and is essential to the plot."
Surely Segel will be warning his mom this time for his upcoming flick “Sex Tape,” which he co-stars with Cameron Diaz. Jason spoke about the intimate scenes in the comedy and said, "Oh, after this movie, we are real comfortable."
Segel added, "To do something like this has the potential to be very awkward. But we share a mentality that, when it comes to comedy, the bottom line is it being as funny as it can possibly be, and that involves being pride free. That could have been awkward with a different partnership. But we laughed so much more than we cringed."
“Sex Tape” hits theaters July 18!
