Shia LaBeouf Charged with Disorderly Conduct & Criminal Trespassing after “Cabaret” Ordeal
He’s no stranger to controversy and Shia LaBeouf will likely face jail time after being hauled out of a Broadway theater and arrested by the NYPD last night (June 26).
The “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” hunk reportedly cussed up a storm, smoked a cigarette and caused a massive disturbance during a performance of “Cabaret” at Studio 54.
Following the first act, Johnny Law apprehended LaBeouf and took him out of the building in handcuffs, en route to the nearby midtown north police station.
After the incident, actor Benj Pasek tweeted, "Just saw Shia LaBeouf in handcuffs in tears surrounded by 6 police officers outside of CABARET the musical. Oh New York, u is a crazy b*tch.”
And Danny Burstein, who stars in “Cabaret,” shared an update on Facebook- "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your places call for Act II. Also, to let you know, Shia LaBeouf has just been escorted from the building in handcuffs."
At this point, Shia has been charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
