Robin Williams Seeks Continued Sobriety at Rehab
It’s no secret that he’s been struggling with both career and financial issues in recent years, and thankfully Robin Williams is being proactive about his own well-being.
Per a TMZ report, the “Dead Poets Society” star has checked into the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center in Minnesota to make sure he doesn’t end up back in a bad spot.
Robin’s rep shared, “After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud.”
Back in 2006, Mr. Williams also found himself battling addiction. His spokesman at the time reported, “After 20 years of sobriety, Robin Williams found himself drinking again and has decided to take proactive measures to deal with this for his own well-being and the well-being of his family.”
As of late, Robin filmed “Boulevard” with Kathy Baker and “The Angriest Man in Brooklyn” with Mila Kunis in addition to his show “The Crazy Ones” with Sarah Michelle Gellar.
