Chris Brown Enters Guilty Plea in Washington DC Assault Case
He’s spent more time in the courtroom than he has in the recording studio as of late, and Chris Brown is ready to turn over a new leaf.
Earlier today, the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer agreed to a plea deal and pled guilty at a hearing in Washington DC where he was charged with assaulting a man by punching him in the face last October.
During his remarks, Brown apologized for his actions and shared that this whole ordeal has really damaged his music career.
As a result, the judge sentenced Chris to time already served, citing 2 days in a DC jail and 108 days in LA County Prison.
From here, Brown will prepare to go out on tour with a clear head, having put this case behind him.
