2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards: A Complete Look
Drawing out some of Hollywood’s finest ladies, the stars were in full force for the 22nd annual Glamour Women of the Year awards in New York City on Monday (November 12).
Former “Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon was also on hand to take the stage as one of the night’s performers, while Chelsea Clinton made a salute to the women who ran for political office in 2012.
16 year-old Olympic gold-medalist Gabby Douglas was also recognized, along with other female U.S. Olympic athletes, for their “unstoppable” record number of gold medal wins at this year’s games.
During the course of the evening's affairs, the star-studded audience toasted 20 year-old Gomez by honoring her with the Independent Spirit award for her impressive accomplishments in TV, music and fashion as well as being the youngest U.S. ambassador for UNICEF.
As for the funds raised at this year’s shindig, the money will support Project SAAVE, which helps to bring medical care to acid-attack survivors.
