Taking a break from promoting the final Twilight Saga film "Breaking Dawn: Part - 2," Kellan Lutz covered the November/December 2012 issue of Essential Homme magazine.

The 27-year-old actor looked handsome as he suited up for the Randall Slavin shot spread while opening up about everything adrenaline rushes to why he chose acting as a career.

A few highlights from Mr. Lutz's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Essential Homme!

On craving an adrenaline rush:
"I think that's what life is for. You're supposed to get outside your skin and learn about yourself."

On why he got out of modeling:
"My dad lost his hair when he was younger, so I knew I wasn't going to be pretty enough or handsome enough to model for the rest of my life."

On making the switch to film:
"I never did theater growing up, I never did anything in front of the camera. But I liked it. I learned a lot about myself doing it. And then I realized - I have more personality than I have looks. Modeling you can't really express your personality, but in film you can."
