Britney Spears Shops Beverly Hills, Protests Pandora
Getting in some retail therapy before heading to work on the "X Factor," Britney Spears was spotted out on Robertson Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California on Thursday (November 15).
The 30-year-old singer was dressed down in a black short-sleeved top, blue jeans, and lamb's wool boots as she carried a shopping bag in one hand and a cold drink in the other.
Recently, the judge and mentor joined other music stars including Katy Perry, Cee Lo Green, Ne-Yo, and Maroon 5 to attack music station, Pandora.
Regarding the Internet Radio Fairness Act, which would reduce the fees the internet radio service pays for playing their music, the stars stated their opposition to the proposed law.
The open letter began, "We are big fans of Pandora. That's why we helped give the company a discount on rates for the past decade."
However, it continues, "Pandora's principal asset is the music. Why is the company asking Congress once again to step in and gut the royalties that thousands of musicians rely upon? That's not fair and that's not how partners work together."
