One Direction Nabs #1 Album Spot on the Billboard 200
Coming from Across the Pond to take America by storm, One Direction has earned their second #1 album within a year.
The boy band's sophomore record, Take Me Home, hit the top of the Billboard 200 charts this week, selling 540,000 units.
This make's the UK group the third-best sales week of the year behind Taylor Swift and Mumford & Sons.
On Wednesday, member Niall Horan took to Twitter to express his appreciation for the legions of 1D fans, saying, "Thank you all soo much for ur support! Means soo much! We can't believe this is all happening to us, just normal guys from small places."
