Ben Affleck is "Entertainer of the Year" in Entertainment Weekly's December 2012 Issue
After directing, producing, and starring in the highly successful film "Argo," Ben Affleck is honored as Entertainment Weekly's 2012 "Entertainer of the Year."
The 40-year-old actor graced the December cover of the mag looking quite dapper in a vest and tie while discussing everything from his growth to fame to his Hollywood family.
Highlights from Mr. Affleck's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Entertainment Weekly's!
On his success:
“When you’re younger and have the early success that I had — it sounds like the worst Hallmark cliche — but I didn’t have anyone to share it with. I don’t mean I wanted someone to sit by the fire with.”
On his family:
“But when you have a family and children, you kind of see yourself reflected in them. I want to make the kinds of movies that my kids are proud of. I have higher standards, in a way, for them.”
On his Oscar-buzzed film "Argo":
"I had very low expectations for Argo‘s performance. I just hoped that over time people would find the movie. Also, being at a place in my life and my career where I know what I’m trying to do, it’s different than being 26."
