“Skyfall” Scores Bigger than “Avatar” In UK
It’s no secret that the box office numbers for “Skyfall” have been impressive, but now the 23rd James Bond flick has hit a new milestone.
According to reports, Daniel Craig's latest masterpiece has topped $151.8 million in the UK after just 40 days, beating out “Avatar’s” $151.3 million in UK sales.
In response to the good news, producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli told press, “We are very proud of this film and thank everybody, especially Daniel Craig and Sam Mendes, who have contributed to its success.”
