Ahead of his upcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey, Lance Armstrong reportedly apologized to the staff of his Livestrong Foundation on Monday (January 14).

According to reports, the disgraced cyclist did not directly admit to using banned drugs, but instead said he was sorry to have let the staff down.

The 41-year-old athlete's illustrious career was damaged after he was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles last year as a result of a U.S. Anti-Doping Agency report found that he was behind "the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen."

To see Lance's first interview since the incident, watch OWN on January 17 at 9:00 p.m.
