Krysten Ritter to Star in a New NBC Comedy
Rebounding from the cancellation of "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" three weeks ago, Krysten Ritter has been picked up for a new role on NBC.
An adaptation of Leslye Headland's play, "Assistance," will feature the 31-year-old actress in its lead role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The comedy follows Nora, an assistant who attempts to find balance while juggling the demands of a larger-than-life boss.
Starring as Nora, Krysten will play a magnetic, hyperactive workaholic with a sex appeal directly proportional to her anxiety level. She's the harried personal assistant to Daniel Weisinger, who expects her to be on call 24/7.
