David Copperfield’s Emergency Plane Landing Scare
He’s used to defying the odds and cheating death with his magical antics, but when David Copperfield's plane made an emergency landing this morning (March 4), it was a little more than he could handle.
The famed magician was on his way to New York City for the “Today” show when the pilot heard noises that necessitated an immediate landing.
And David took to his Twitter account to share all the details with his fans, tweeting, “Emergency landing. Everyone is ok. Emergency landing in Peoria, Illinois. So Scary.”
During his Skype interview on “Today,” Copperfield played a recording of the sound on his plane that forced the grounding, noting, “I felt kind of freaked out.”
