He’s one of the hottest performers in pop music today, and Bruno Mars paid a visit to the iHeartRadio Theater for a very special gig.
The “Just The Way You Are” singer and his top-notch band treated fans to a hit-laden set including his hits “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Runaway,” and “Marry You.”
During his interview, Bruno explained the meaning behind the title of his latest album Unorthodox Jukebox.
“Before I got signed, that was always the problem. I would go and sing my songs to these big record executives, these big record companies, and the first thing they would say was, ‘You know, your music is a little too unorthodox. We don’t know where to market this.’”
“And that always frustrated me because I felt like for me, going into the studio is so exciting because I never know what is going to come out. I never know what kind of song is going to come out. I just go in and do whatever it is I want to do.”
