Chloe Moretz Rocks Out with The Neighborhood
Treating herself to a fun-filled evening, Chloe Moretz headed over to the Fonda Theater in Hollywood for a live show by The Neighborhood last night (August 15).
Upon her arrival, the “Carrie” starlet took a quick call on her mobile phone before strolling inside in a denim jacket with black trousers and animal print flats.
Chloe recently told press that when it comes to her image, she tries to strike a balance- "I’m just as much as a tomboy as I am a princess. I mean, I love getting dressed up and I love looking pretty and I love doing makeup and hair and all that fun stuff, but I grew up with four older brothers so that means playing football and basketball and not being a girly girl because I want to be able to have fun with them. I like adventures."
As for her own career goals, Miss Moretz explained, “I want to be someone that girls can look up to as a strong female empowerment independent girl. Because, for a moment in the early Noughties or the Nineties and the Eighties, it was all about strong females. Now it’s become the back-seated female, I guess. It’s become the damsel in distress. You need movies like Kick-Ass where the dorky kind of damsel is Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl saves him. This allows young girls to look at it and go, 'That’s someone I can look up to.’”
