Zoe Saldana Inks Production Deal with Lionsgate
Using her talent and her heritage to appeal to a broader market, Lionsgate has partnered with Zoe Saldana to develop new content for Hispanic audiences.
An article that appeared in The Hollywood Reporter stated that the “Avatar” beauty and her sister Cisely Saldana will work under the production banner Saldana Productions.
Lionsgate created Hollywood’s first Latino-focused film studio, Pantelion Films, in 2010 with a Mexican television group, and in 2012 they partnered with Televisa to create English language television with a Latino focus.
For her part, the 35-year-old actress said "We look forward to a fruitful and productive relationship with Pantelion."
