Orlando Bloom on "GMA": I Instantly Connected with Condola Rashad
Pitching in promotions for his upcoming play "Romeo and Juliet," Orlando Bloom showed up at ABC studios in New York City on Thursday (August 22).
The "Lord of the Rings" actor smiled ear-to-ear as he stopped to sign autographs before his interview on "Good Morning America."
While on the talk show, Bloom chatted about his Broadway debut and said, "[It is] an Everest for my first time out on the climb. I'm really excited. I had a go at it in Los Angeles. We did a few nights. But this is really -- I wanted to jump in. I think it's a beautiful play. The story is -- it's a classic,"
He continues, "Everyone knows -- feels they know this story. But there's so much more to it. And I've loved every moment of the rehearsal."
In regards of first meeting Juliet actress Condola Rashad, Orlando says, "When I first met Condola, there was an immediate connection between us."
"She was very funny She delivered this one line and I remember just cracking up. It was such a unique -- a comedic Juliet," he added.
