Lady Gaga’s Lawsuit Blues
She’s getting sued by her former assistant to the tune of $380,000, and Lady Gaga's defense just suffered a serious blow.
On Tuesday (September 10) a federal judge ruled that Jennifer O’Neill’s claim to pay for on-call time could be included in the complaint, though the “Born This Way” songstress hoped it would be thrown out.
O’Neill declared that during her employment for Gaga, she worked massive overtime shifts and when she wasn’t on the clock she was on call “every hour of every day.”
Moving forward, Judge Paul Gardephe decided that a jury will determine the impact Lady Gaga’s demands realistically had on O’Neill’s life, and how much compensation should be provided.
