Britney Spears' Conservator Father and Lawyers Ask Court for More Funds
Now that she's back in the spotlight with a new single and upcoming Vegas residency, Britney Spears' conservator (and father) is asking the court to order continued monthly payments.
Earlier this month, Jamie Spears filed a motion to request continuing payments of $16,000 in addition to covering the cost of his rented office in the amount of $1,200 per month.
Hoping to get a bigger piece of the pie, his attorneys are also asking for the court to raise their normal payment of 50% of their fees to 80% and to cover 100% of their costs.
Noting that the 31-year-old singer is in "excellent financial status," one lawyer claims that from November 3, 2012 to August 31, 2013 he accrued $151,427.50 in legal fees and $1,426.51 in costs.
It seems Brit better hope that "Work B**ch" sells big and tons of fans flock to her Vegas shows as her expenses seem to be climbing steeply.
