Robert Downey Jr. Talks 'Iron Man 3' At Comic Con 2012
Eagerly opening up about his highly anticipated flick, Robert Downey Jr was among the stars of "Iron Man 3" at this year' s 2012 Comic Con International convention in San Diego, CA on Saturday (July 14).
Looking the part, the 47-year-old actor was seated at the panel in a grey and red suit that he paired with the actual Iron Man hand seen in the films. So what can eager movie-goers expect for the franchise's third time around?
Newly appointed director Shane Black, who took over previous director Jon Favreau's role, says "Iron Man 3" will be "a little more thriller-esque" and full of "suspense." Though fans can expect a different feel this time around, Black insists that the film will still keep it's original "uniformity."
Shane says that Favreau was still on set as "an enormous resource" to keep all three movies consistent, but also adds, "It'll feel different, you'll see."
The action-packed suspense is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2013, but you can also watch interviews about the film from this year's Comic Con in the player below!
