SNL Recap: Jimmy Fallon Hosts, Michael Bublé Performs
Making his grand return to the sketch comedy show, Jimmy Fallon took over hosting duties for yesterday's (December 17) episode of "Saturday Night Live".
The 37-year-old kicked off the show with a monolgue song about Christmas and his joy over being back on SNL while the Cold Open featured Sully and Denise showing up at the high school dance with plenty of fake Student IDs and booze.
Other highlights included "Weekend Update: Get In The Cage" in which Nicolas Cage grilled special guest Jude Law about leaving him out of "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows," along with a skit titled "Tebow" that saw yet another amazing Denver Broncos victory - after which Jesus stopped by to to ask Tim Tebow to start playing better earlier in games.
As for the musical guest, Michael Bubblé churned out performances of “Holly Jolly Christmas” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” while also being featured in a "Duets" segment alongside Sting, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Kanye West.
